This 50’ boxcar was built by Pullman-Standard in the late 1960’s and featured a cushioned underframe and DF loaders. Founded in 1938 through a merger of the Gulf, Mobile & Northern and the Mobile & Ohio railroads, GM&O became a medium-sized Class I railroad with a main line between Mobile, Alabama, Kansas City, Kansas, and Chicago, Illinois.
